TRADER DATA SYSTEMS ANNOUCES STRONG SUCCESS FOR ITS VEHICLE PROVENANCE SERVICES JUST WEEKS AFTER LAUNCH

Trader Data Systems, part of Trader Media Group, one of Europe’s largest specialist multi media groups, has won two major manufacturers, a top five dealer group and over 800 independent and franchised dealers in just weeks of launch.

Trader Data Systems has secured substantial contracts to become the preferred supplier to the Volkswagen Group, one the UK’s major manufacturer groups, with its new innovative Vehicle Check and Vehicle Mileage Investigation service across over 550 dealerships; a three year deal with Colt Car Company Ltd, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s UK importer, to provide Vehicle Check to the franchise network; as well as supplying Arnold Clark, the UK’s biggest, independent dealer group, with its services across over 135 dealerships.

Alongside the major wins of two manufacturers and a top five dealer group, Trader Data Systems has also secured contracts with over 800 independent and franchised dealers that have switched to Trader Data Systems since its launch.

Trader Data System’s new Vehicle Check gives dealers access to a range of unique and innovative features above the standard vehicle provenance check that some other suppliers provide, with enhanced functionality including an innovative Refresh tool which allows cars to be re-checked for free within a three month period, saving dealers both time and money on repeat checks; Dealer Risk Alerts, ¬which is a unique tool that allows dealers to easily add, review and remove cars from Dealer Risk Alert, such as demonstrators or loan cars; Trade Valuations, based on the vehicle registration mark and PDF Certification, a feature that allows dealers to decide if a certificate should be downloaded straight away, or emailed to a pre-defined email address.
Trader Data Systems new Vehicle Mileage Investigation service enables dealers to submit a mileage investigation in minutes, using the UK’s cleanest, most efficient database. Trader Data Systems’ new Vehicle Mileage Investigation service is fully integrated with the company’s new Vehicle Check service. The new state-of-the-art system automatically prompts dealers to complete a mileage investigation at the touch of a button. Unlike competitor mileage investigation products, Trader Data System’s new service enables dealers to do a vehicle check and mileage investigation in minutes using one system and one data entry process, saving dealers valuable time and money.
The new Vehicle Mileage Investigation service can cover dealers with up to £10,000 of insurance, should the mileage investigation reveal the mileage to be inaccurate. VMI can be purchased independently of Trader Data System’s Vehicle Check product.
Trader Data Systems has taken into account feedback from new customers to enhance certain product features, and has already made significant changes and enhancements. Trader Data Systems is now working on phase two of its product development, with the following new enhancements:
- Automatic Refresh – this new feature stops a dealer from checking the same car twice by alerting the dealer that they have already checked the vehicle and allowing them to refresh the data free of charge.
- VMI PDF Certificates – A market first: a dealer will have the ability to choose how they would like to receive the Vehicle Mileage Investigation certificates, including a choice between a PDF or posted certificate.
- VMI Consumer Online Reply Screens – Another feature unique to Trader Data Systems: VMI will send a mileage request letter to the previous keepers, and they can choose to respond online, speeding up the process and ensuring a safe and secure response.
- Report Summary – A new one page report, now available after each check which can be printed and retained by the dealer if required.
- Dealer Risk Alerts – This updated feature now allows dealers to register, amend and delete their own stock.
- Dealer Edit – Trader Data System’s vehicle provenance services are now full integrated with Dealer Edit, so that once a vehicle check has been completed, the dealer can simply send the car to Auto Trader via Dealer Edit.
