John King - Chief Executive Officer

John King joined Trader Media Group (TMG) as CEO in June 2007. Before joining TMG, John King was CEO of Trading Post, Australia’s leading specialist classifieds business. The group’s flagship brands are the Trading Post weekly print publication and its companion website, tradingpost.com.au. King’s previous roles include Chief Operating Officer of Sensis Classifieds and General Manager, Online Advertising of Sensis Pty Ltd. At Trading Post, John developed a strategy to defend and grow the core print business while building Australia’s leading online classified verticals.

Andrew Miller - Chief Finance Officer

Andrew Miller joined TMG in 2002 as Group Financial Controller and was responsible for supporting the acquisition of TMG by Guardian Media Group. He was appointed Chief Finance Officer and to the Board of Trader Media Group in 2004.

Prior to TMG Andrew worked for eight years in Pepsico’s Fritolay division including roles as the director of finance for their European operations team and planning director at Walkers crisps. He has also worked at Bass PLC, Procter and Gamble and as CFO in a “dot.com” startup.

Andrew is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland and trained with Pricewaterhouse.

Matt Thompson - Group Marketing Director

Matt Thompson is Group Marketing Director of Trader Media Group (TMG), and joined in 1999 as Marketing Director for the Auto Trader brand. Prior to joining TMG Matt gained a wealth of experience within Marketing in the automotive sector. Starting out at Lucas Automotive and then moving onto Perkins Engines where he worked in the US and then National Tyres & Autocare. In 1994, Matt joined ERF, as Head of Marketing where he worked in the UK and Canada as part of the team that navigated the sale of the business to Western Star.

Craig Stevens - Group Sales and Services Director

Craig originally joined Trader Media Group in 1996 as a General Manager for the National Magazine Division. He was then appointed as Managing Director of Ireland’s Auto Trader in 2001, with overall responsibility for both the printed publication and www.autotrader.ie. For the last 11 years, Craig has worked at a management level and director level, responsible for the development of Trader Media Group’s digital strategy and growth of the Group’s trade and consumer digital products and services. Craig has now been appointed as Group Sales and Services Director, having previously held the position of New Media Director.

Nathan Coe - Group Strategy and New Business Director

Nathan joined TMG 2007 as the Managing Director of Strategy and Business Transformation, responsible for developing the strategy for the business and ensuring that our key initiatives are seen through to successful execution. Prior to joining TMG, Nathan led Mergers & Acquisitions for Sensis Pty Ltd one of Australia’s leading media company’s with advertising products across multiple platforms (print, online and wireless) and multiple industries. Prior to that, Nathan worked in Corporate Development at Telstra Corporation, Australia’s leading telecommunications provider, and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Valuations and Strategy

Dominic Collins - Director - Autotrader.co.uk

Dominic joined TMG in June 2008 as Group Director of New Media, responsibile for the range of digital product management, delivery and innovation across the group as well as the strategy and management of all websites. Prior to joining TMG, Dominic was Director of Online Products & Services at B Sky B Ltd where he was responsible for product management, search, business intelligence and marketing across all Sky’s websites including the portal and services supporting Sky Broadband. Before Sky, Dominic’s background was in media and publishing including start-up Commercial Director at Buongiorno (an international mobile and email marketing company) and Group Advertisement Director at the National Magazine Company.

David McMinn - MD Trader Publishing

David McMinn previously held the post of Operations Director of Trader Media Group. The role encompassed the Printing division, Production, AdTrader, National Magazines and transformation of operations, it includes cost leadership across the whole organisation.

Prior to joining TMG, David was a senior business leader and change agent with extensive experience working with some of Australia’s most successful organisations and iconic brands. David was National Sales Director at Sensis Classifieds, where he had a track record of achievement and bottom line improvement. He has also held roles in general management and was the Chief Financial Officer of the organisation.

Joanne Walker - Group HR Director

Joanne originally joined TMG as HR Director in 2000, just after the formation of Trader Media Group (from the Hurst Publishing and Guardian Auto Trader merger). During that time, she helped to establish group-wide HR policies and procedures, a well received training portfolio and a structure for health, safety and environmental management.
After 2 years away from the workplace (looking after her 3 young children) she was enticed back to TMG, as the business moves to the next phase of its development.
Previously, Joanne worked at ExxonMobil in various HR roles, after joining as part of their graduate recruitment programme and then at British Airways where she was Head of Customer Service Training worldwide.

John Crosby - Chief Information Officer

John Crosby is Chief Information Officer at Trader Media Group. In this role he is responsible for technology provision to enable, deliver and develop the business in line with its strategic aims. Joining TMG in 1998 he was a member of the original team that pioneered development of autotrader.co.uk. During the intervening period he has operated at all levels in the technology organisation, playing a key role in the development of the teams and technology used to transition the business from its traditional publishing base to online.
